Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will host a free concert featuring POPGUN ReRun, the number one '80s tribute band, taking place Friday, Aug. 23, 2024.

"This free summer concert is another great opportunity for families, friends and neighbors to come together, enjoy an evening of music and dancing, and create lasting memories," said Mayor Rex Richardson. "As the summer break comes to an end, I encourage you to join us and at this fun, family-friendly celebration with the musical delights of the ultimate '80s tribute band, POPGUN ReRun."

The concert will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at El Dorado Park West (2760 Studebaker Rd.). Community members are invited to rock out to iconic hits and dance the night away to pop, rock, new wave and funk music. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy on the lawn.

"Over the summer months, our Parks Department has provided thousands of Long Beach residents with free, family-friendly programs, events and activities," said Fourth District Councilman Daryl Supernaw. "We're pleased to host yet another great concert in the heart of our community at El Dorado Park West."
