Feature Artist Program
Submission deadline: Friday, January 10, 2025
LINK: C3 Feature Artist Program
ARTWORK GOAL
The Center for Creative Connections (C3) at the Dallas Museum of Art is currently accepting applications from North Texas artists who are interested in developing an installation that responds to the concept of rhythm-how it is both an audible and visual element in numerous types of art. The artist's work will be installed within the C3 Gallery as part of the next C3 exhibition, set to open in fall or winter 2025. Projects could respond to such topics as the exploration of rhythm as a thematic element through various mediums; the psychological, emotional, and cultural impact of rhythm on the viewer; or the ways rhythm can create audible and visual spaces or define different environments.
