Sanford hosting vaccination events in Bismarck and Mandan

BISMARCK, N.D. (Sept. 30, 2024) - Sanford Bismarck is offering flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to patients 6 months and older every Thursday throughout the month of October from 12-4 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but not required.

Who should receive which vaccine?
- Flu: Adults and children ages six months and older should receive an annual flu vaccination, especially children, pregnant women, and people 65 and older.
- COVID-19: Adults and children ages six months and older should receive an annual COVID-19 vaccination.
- RSV: Adults 75 and older are eligible for the RSV vaccination, as well as adults 60+ with certain risk factors. A single dose is also recommended for pregnant women between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy during September through January to protect babies from severe RSV.
Adults should wear a shirt with sleeves that can easily be rolled up and bring an insurance card as most insurances are accepted.
