Statement from Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia
Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia and the City of Dallas released the following statement regarding unauthorized use of his image.
"I am aware that my name, image, and likeness are being used in political advertisements without my permission or authorization. These advertisements have appeared across several media platforms including television, mailers, and social media. I want to make it unequivocally clear that I have not approved or endorsed this use, nor have I consented to being associated with these political campaigns or messages. I demand that the unauthorized use of my name, image, and likeness in these advertisements immediately cease."
