Farewell at the Delegation

Friends and colleagues joined the EU Ambassador for a farewell reception at the EU Delegation's office in Reykjavík.

We soon bid farewell to our Ambassador, Lucie Samcová-Hall Allen, after four fruitful years here at the EU Delegation to Iceland.

To mark the occasion, friends and colleagues joined the Ambassador at a farewell reception on Tuesday 13 August 2024 at the EU Delegation's office in Reykjavík.

At her last hurrah, the Ambassador spoke about the strong relationship and close cooperation between the European Union and Iceland, which reached a milestone this year with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the EEA Agreement. She also expressed her gratitude for the rewarding ans successful collaboration with individuals from all sectors and regions of Iceland.

As she moves on to exciting new endeavours, we wish Ambassador Samcová-Hall Allen the very best and thank her for the great cooperation during her tenure in Iceland.
