Colton female arrested for criminal obstruction of breathing

On July 23, 2024, State Police members arrested Allissa A. Prow, age 28, of Colton, NY, for criminal obstruction of breathing.

On July 23, 2024, at approximately 8:47 a.m., Troopers responded to Fordham Hill Road in the town of Russell for a report of a domestic. An investigation determined Prow and the victim were involved in a verbal argument, which turned physical when Prow placed her hands around the victim's neck to apply pressure.

Prow was arrested and transported to SP Canton for processing. Prow was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Russell Court for a later date in August.
