Chalktoberfest's Community Chalk Competition Registration is Open

MARIETTA, GA - The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is excited to announce that Chalktoberfest's Community Chalk Competition registration is now open!

The Community Chalk Competition is a chance for local artists and school groups to create their own chalk art at Chalktoberfest and be considered for awards. The competition will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in West Park Square. The deadline to register your team is October 7, 2024, by 5:00 pm.

There are divisions for individual artists and school teams. Individual artist divisions are Youth (9-12 years old), Teen, and Adult. School teams can enter the Elementary, Middle, or High School Divisions. (Non-school groups -- such as scout troops -- can also compete as teams *as long as the group members' ages all qualify for the same division.*) First, second, and third place will be awarded within each division.
