Medicare Advantage, prescription drug programs to remain stable for 2025

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Sept. 27 announced that average premiums, benefits and plan choices for Medicare Advantage and Part D will remain stable for 2025. Average premiums are projected to decline in both programs. For MA, the average monthly premium would decrease by $1.23 to $17, while the average total premium for a Part D prescription drug plan is expected to decrease by $7.45 to $46.50. Open enrollment for Medicare and Part D is from Oct. 15-Dec. 7.
