Photo/Video Advisory: Marquette University to host Media Day for opening of new home for College of Nursing, Sept. 3

MILWAUKEE - Media are invited to attend a tour of the recently reconstructed David A. Straz Jr. Hall, the new home of the Marquette University College of Nursing, on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Media will have the opportunity to see the completed facility, which opened its doors to students on Monday, Aug. 26, and conduct interviews with university and college leaders involved in the facility's development.

  • Date/Time: Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Location: David A. Straz Jr. Hall, 1225 W. Wisconsin Ave. (east end of Central Mall)
  • Parking: Parking is available in the Wells Street Parking Structure (1240 W. Wells St.). A map of the visitor parking structures can be found here.
