Newfane man arrested for fatal incident involving two dogs

On October 29, 2024, The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Lockport arrested Christian A. Radetich-Hallman, 23 of Newfane, NY for Aggravated Cruelty to Animals (E Felony) 2 counts and Criminal Tampering with Physical Evidence (E Felony) two counts.

On October 24, 2024, Troopers out of SP Lockport were dispatched to Main Street in the town of Newfane for a reported animal cruelty. Investigation determined that Radetich-Hallman had beaten two dogs to death. Both dogs, a deceased 4-month-old male King Charles Cavalier Spaniel dog found in a garbage can and a deceased 3-month-old female Australian Shepard at a secondary location at the residence. SP Lockport Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted a search warrant on the residence during this investigation. Radetich-Hallman was located on October 24, 2024, and taken into custody by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and NYS Parole for a Parole Violation and separate domestic violence offense.

Radetich-Hallman was remanded to the Monroe County Jail for a Parole Violation.
