(AWS) to accelerate cloud migration and provide options for customers managing workloads across hybrid cloud environments. The partnership aims to reduce the friction required for IT modernization, making it easier for customers to leverage AWS services to drive innovation.

Unlock New Hybrid Cloud Opportunities with NC2 on AWS

Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS supports a variety of hybrid cloud use cases like cloud migration, cloud disaster recovery, and datacenter extension. It allows for intelligent workload placement for applications and data, so organizations can focus on innovation rather than complex infrastructure shifts. Hybrid cloud adoption can also help break down silos within IT, leading to more collaboration between teams working across different infrastructure environments.

This integration allows organizations to run their applications on a consistent environment across both on-premises and AWS, and benefit from access to AWS services, including AWS Databases, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) services, as well as the security, resiliency, and scalability AWS offers.

Lowering the Barriers to Cloud Migration

For many, that journey might start with a proof-of-concept. Customers can now take advantage of the benefits to run a 30-day free trial through AWS promotion credits for NC2 bare metal and Nutanix 30-day trial period for NC2. Once ready, you can simply switch to a paid subscription to continue with your migration journey.

For those customers migrating workloads from an on-premises VMware environment, the VMware to Nutanix Migration promotion offers eligible customers with one year of free Nutanix licensing (for terms of 3 years or more) along with partner-delivered migration support. Additionally, customers migrating workloads from other clouds or on-premises will also have access to the AWS Migration Acceleration Program benefits, including migration assessment and support with AWS credits, as well as Nutanix licensing pricing promotions.

Customers looking to migrate from VMC on AWS to NC2 on AWS can now benefit from promotional credits designed to reduce the costs of migrating their workloads. Through the strategic agreement, customers gain access to promotional credits via the AWS VMware Migration Accelerator. These credits can be used for AWS bare metal service on which the NC2 solution runs.

Additionally, for a limited time, Nutanix is offering the new VMware Cloud to Nutanix on AWS Migration promotional offer for customers migrating VMC workloads to NC2 on AWS. Eligible VMC customers migrating to NC2 on AWS can receive one year of free Nutanix licensing, along with NC2 deployment and migration services and access to white glove NC2 engineering services- all designed to help mitigate risk and accelerate the migration to hybrid cloud.
