16th Annual Boston Police Shop with a Cop Event

This year's Shop with a Cop event marked 16 incredible years of spreading joy, building trust, and connecting with the young people we proudly serve. Thanks to the Boston Police Foundation's COP (Community Opportunities Program) Fund and our amazing partners at Target, the night was one for the books!

Led by Commissioner Michael Cox, Members of the Command Staff, Officers, volunteers, and our first responder partners, nearly 300 children ages 5-12 from across Boston were paired with officers and first responders to shop for gifts from their holiday wish lists.

This special event is all about creating joy and meaningful connections for families who need extra support during the holiday season. Watching the smiles and excitement of these kids is a reminder of what the holidays-and community-are all about.
