Burbank PD News Release: Homicide Investigation

Burbank, CA (September 6, 2024) - A man has died following an early morning altercation inside a residence.

On September 6, 2024, at about 4:45 a.m., Burbank Police officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of North Cordova Street regarding an unknown problem. When police officers arrived, they located a man at the residence who was suffering from stab wounds. Another man, who is related to the victim, was detained inside the home.

The victim was transported to a local trauma center but succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.

Burbank Police detectives responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation.
