Over 200 visitors came through ARTS at King Street Station for July’s First Thursday!

On Thursday, June 11, over 200 community members made it out for our COMPLEXITY Party and the opening of Luminous Being by Zabia Colovos at ARTS at King Street Station. There was live graffiti painting in the plaza, DJ Surreal spinning, and Dreamsicle ice cream truck supplying treats to beat the heat. Check out highlights from the evening in the gallery below!

ARTS at King Street Station is FREE and open Wednesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on First Thursdays. The gallery is located at 303 S. Jackson St., Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104.

Luminous Being by Zabia Colovos is on view until September 7, 2024.

What to Expect

Luminous Being contains 2D and 3D works and film projections, including drawings of mythic imagery and dream symbols, photos of the human form, sculptures and photos depicting human anatomy, and film documenting natural landscapes and a funeral ceremony. The exhibition also includes a viewing station depicting works, speeches, individuals, and ideas that inspired the artist for this exhibition.
