UAA Men's Hockey against the University of Denver

The University of Denver (DU) hockey team, the defending national champions, are coming to Anchorage, Oct.5-6. Seawolf Athletics is planning a big start of the season celebration.

Saturday Night

Pre-game FanFest

A pre-game FanFest will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Avis Alaska Sports Complex. There will be music, games, food trucks (for purchase) and an appearance by UAA Coach Matt Shasby and DU Coach David Carle.

Gym Gametime Experience

Fans who are unable to get tickets to the arena can join in an exciting game experience at 6 p.m. New this year, even bigger screens are being added to the gym. Arena audio will be fed directly to the gym. There will be games, prizes and visits from UAA players during intermission. Free Raising Cane's meals to the first 100 children. Adults can bring in food from the FanFest food trucks. No ticket needed for entry into the gym.

Tickets are required for entrance into the arena.

Sunday Night

A second night of hockey between UAA and Denver will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6.
