SCDOT crews to conduct temporary shoulder closures on I-85 in Anderson County for debris cleanup

Columbia, S.C. (December 16, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has begun temporary shoulder closures on I-85 northbound in Anderson County for debris cleanup. Crews will continue clearing debris through Wednesday, December 18 beginning at mile mark 4 and continuing north until exit 40.

The shoulder of the interstate will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

SCDOT encourages drivers to use caution in the area and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zone.​
