The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $966,504 against 30 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: three air quality, one industrial wastewater discharge, two multi-media, one municipal solid waste, three municipal wastewater discharges, one petroleum storage tank, three public water systems, and two water quality.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one municipal solid waste, 12 petroleum storage tank, and one public water system,

In addition, on Nov. 19, the executive director approved penalties totaling $63,290 against 27 entities.
