One Day Closure Scheduled for U.S Route 63 at Kirksville

Traffic Diverted onto Bus. 63/Baltimore Street in Kirksville

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, September 27, U.S. Route 63 at Kirksville, in Adair County, is scheduled to close between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while crews make bridge approach repairs at the bridge over Steer Creek, between Route P and Illinois Street.

Northbound and southbound U.S. 63 traffic approaching Kirksville will be diverted onto Business U.S. 63/Baltimore Street through Kirksville. Eastbound and westbound traffic utilizing the following U.S. 63 intersections will remain open to traffic:

  • Dogwood Lane
  • Missouri Route 6 / E. Shepherd Ave.
  • Missouri Route 11/E. Illinois St.
  • Route P

All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
