September Artist of the Month

In Sept. the Parker River Wildlife Refuge features painter Beth Macy as artist of the month. Beth paints with brush and palette knife, in oils and acrylics to celebrate the world around us. Her landscapes and wildlife paintings are often done on site in Newbury and Newburyport and intended to transmit her love of nature. In her words, "I strive to share the mood, allowing the viewer to embrace the scene."

Beth's art training includes studies at the Museum of Fine Arts, the Copley Society, and Montserrat College. She has exhibited throughout New England and is represented by a variety of galleries. Her work is in collections from New York to Australia.
