JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- Rehabilitation work on the Cole County Route B bridge over the Moreau River, north of Wardsville, is complete. Crews from Concrete Strategies, LLC completed expansion jointrepairsand were able to open all lanes of traffic Nov. 26, 2024.
While the bridge remained open during construction, it was narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals guiding motorists through the work zone. Built in 1978, the expansion joints haddeterioratedfrom weather, water, andsalt, and needed repairto extend the expected lifespan of the bridge.
