Serve on one of Larkspur's Boards & Commissions

Applications are currently being accepted for vacancies on three boards and commissions. Volunteering on a commission is a great way to get involved and invest in your community.

  • Library Board
    The Library Board provides advice to the Library Director and makes policy recommendations to the City Manager and the City Council on matters relating to the library. Learn more about this position.
  • Marin County Commission on Aging
    The Marin County Commission on Aging is a 23-member federally mandated advisory council to the Marin County Board of Supervisors. The Commission works closely with the Aging and Adult Services on behalf of Marin's older adults. Learn more about this position.
  • Rent Review BoardThe Rent Review Board is a new Larkspur board created by the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. The City Council will appoint 5 members consisting of 2 owners of residential property in Larkspur who actively rent property to residential tenants, 2 tenants of residential property who reside in Larkspur, and 1 resident who is neither an owner of residential rental property nor a tenant of residential property.
