With approximately 1.3 million women in the U.S. entering menopause annually1 it's critical they receive the education, support, and treatment they deserve. That's why Progyny has launched the 'Press Play on 'Pause' campaign, a collaboration with female leaders across industries aimed at raising awareness about menopause benefits, breaking the workplace stigma around discussing menopause, and empowering women to share their personal stories as they navigate this life stage.
The 'Press Play on Pause' campaign features voices from leading employers including Synchrony, Danone and more, as well as some of today's biggest women's health advocates like Female Quotient Founder and CEO Shelley Zalis, actress Kellee Stewart, Mama Glow Founder Latham Thomas, and Gennev Founder and CEO Jill Angelo. Each woman's story and call to action will be shared across Progyny social channels throughout October.
In addition to the social campaign, Progyny has curated a list of resources to support women in the workplace and educational materials for someone currently in peri/menopause.
As we continue to push the conversation around menopause forward, Progyny remains committed to ensuring women have the resources and support they need. By raising awareness, encouraging open dialogue, and providing meaningful benefits, we hope to empower millions of women to embrace this stage of life with confidence and clarity. Together, through the 'Press Play on Pause' campaign, we can break the silence and build a future where menopause is no longer a taboo topic but a natural and supported part of the workplace and everyday life.
