UPDATE: Pedestrian Killed in Crash in Overlook Neighborhood Identified

The pedestrian killed in a crash in the Overlook Neighborhood on November 1, 2024, has been identified as Dustin E. Pfenning, 45, of Beaverton.
No further information will be released at this time.

One pedestrian is deceased following a crash in the Overlook Neighborhood.
On Friday, November 1, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 5500 block of North Interstate Avenue on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a MAX Yellow Line train. When they arrived, officers located one adult male pedestrian deceased.
The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate.
