MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MONGOLIA H.E. MS. BATTSETSEG MEETS WITH MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC H.E. MR. JAN LIPAVSKÝ

On 26 September 2024 Her Excellency Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with His Excellency Mr. Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, on the margins of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Foreign Minister Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh expressed her pleasure in meeting again with Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Jan Lipavský in New York and exchanging views on current bilateral relations since her official visit to the Czech Republic last year. During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers also discussed upcoming official visits and activities to be held in celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Czech Republic next year.

In addition, both sides emphasized the importance of establishing direct flights between the capitals of the two countries, which would further deepen the traditionally friendly relations between Mongolia and the Czech Republic, while also boosting trade and fostering people-to-people connections.

Furthermore, both sides highlighted the ongoing active cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining and continuing this tradition.
