9/15/24 Shooting Investigation
(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, September 15, 2024, at approximately 10:18 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Shipman Street on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound.
The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers also located two handguns on the scene of the shooting.
A short time later officers were informed that an adult male with a gunshot wound was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
There is no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
