Detectives Seek Additional Information Related to Death Investigation NR24234ma

Koreatown: West Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 19-year-old Korean male, Joon Hee Han, who died after being admitted to a hospital in Whittier for complications from a head injury. According to family members, the fall was the result of an attack that occurred at the end of July, in the 700 block of South Harvard Boulevard in the Olympic Area.

West Bureau Homicide detectives are actively pursuing additional evidence, witness statements, and other information pertaining to the incident that might help us to determine what occurred. As more information becomes available and the sequence of events that led to Joon Hee Han's death becomes clear, we will provide additional information. Until then, we must refrain from additional comment on this tragic occurrence until the facts are clear.
