Lazard Welcomes Courtney Haydon as Managing Director, Financial Sponsors Coverage

Today, Lazard has announced that Courtney Haydon joined the firm as Managing Director, Financial Sponsors Coverage. Based in New York, she will support clients across private equity and broader alternative asset managers.

Prior to joining Lazard, Courtney was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners in Financial Sponsors Investment Banking, where she focused on large-cap and middle-market private equity firms, successfully handling a wide range of transactions, including sell-side and buy-side M&A, IPOs, strategic acquisitions, securitizations, restructurings, and secondaries. Before this, Courtney was part of the Financial Sponsors Investment Banking group at Bank of America.

Courtney holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, a Master of Science in Coastal Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Courtney's appointment reinforces Lazard's long-term growth strategy and contributes to the firm's global recruiting efforts.
