One World Warwick: A week of cultural celebrations showcasing global diversity

The University of Warwick will be celebrating its international community with a week-long celebration called 'One World Warwick'.

The week of events from 11th-17th November will include light processions, musical performances, and Langar community kitchen, all to showcase Warwick's rich international community and its impact on the world.

Warwick's community includes students from 115 countries, over 2000 staff from overseas and a global alumni network, with 40% residing outside the UK.

Warwick proudly celebrates its position as a global university dedicated to tackling the world's most pressing challenges.

Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice Chancellor for International, said: "One World Warwick is about bringing out students, staff, alumni and global partners together to celebrate and deepen our global community, connections, opportunities and impacts.

"This is a fantastic chance to warmly welcome new members from around the world into our community; explore and experience the diverse cultures that make Warwick such a dynamic place; understand more about the global opportunities on offer here; and take the first exciting steps in new international collaborations."

This year's One World Warwick features an exciting lineup of events and activities organized by teams across the University, in collaboration with partners and alumni communities worldwide.

Events include:
