Man Fatally Shot Inside Car at Tanglewood Court Apartment Complex

The man fatally shot early today inside a car at Whispering Oaks Apartments, 100 Tanglewood Court off Harding Place, is identified as Marcus D. Martin, 41.

The investigation shows that Martin was returning to his girlfriend's apartment before sunrise when shots were fired into the Nissan Altima sedan he was driving. The car impacted a tree and came to rest in the driveway of the parking lot. A resident called in to report the crashed car at 7:50 a.m.
