SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawai'i (November 7, 2024) - Local Army units are scheduled to conduct routine training activities in November that may be heard by surrounding communities.

Training can occur during daytime and nighttime hours and is subject to change. Weather, such as overcast conditions and Kona winds (southerly) can increase noise and vibrations. Should individuals hear noise, there is no immediate danger.

To report concerns related to noise or training, contact the NEW U.S. Army Hawai'i's Community Concern Line at (808) 787-1528 or [email protected]. Concerns are responded to during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

For the community's awareness, the training is as follows:

  • November 4-9, 16-27

Artillery and mortar live fire training on Schofield Barracks

(Day and Night Live Fire, including late evening and early morning hours):

6 a.m. - 2 a.m.

  • November 16 - 17

Demolitions Training on Schofield Barracks: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
