Hoeven Statement After Iran's Missile Attack Against Israel

WASHINGTON - Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, today issued the following statement after Iran launched a large-scale missile attack against Israel:

"We stand with Israel as they defend themselves against this attack by Iran. Iran is a threat not only to the security of the region, but the security of the United States, and must be held accountable. The United States must make it clear that Iran will pay a heavy price for attacking Israel directly and for their support of proxy groups like Hezbollah, Hamas and other terrorist organizations. As our greatest ally in the region, we stand with Israel," said Hoeven.
