Assessment of obstetric characteristics and outcomes associated with pregnancy with Turner syndrome

This study assesses national-level trends, characteristics, and outcomes of pregnancies with Turner syndrome in the United States. The results suggest that although pregnancy with Turner syndrome is uncommon this may represent a high-risk group, particularly for intrauterine fetal demise and periviable delivery. Establishing a society-based approach for preconception counseling and antenatal follow-up would be clinically compelling.

The role of elagolix in ovulation suppression during controlled ovarian stimulation: a retrospective cohort study

The objective of this study is to compare in vitro fertilization treatment outcomes for the oral gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist elagolix to the conventionally used injectable GnRH antagonist ganirelix for achieving pituitary gonadotropin suppression during a controlled ovarian stimulation cycle. The oral GnRH antagonist, elagolix, may be as effective as the injected antagonist, ganirelix, regarding embryological and clinical outcomes and could offer a less invasive, more cost-effective, and "patient-friendly" approach to pituitary suppression for in vitro fertilization treatment.

The impact of severe oligozoospermia on morphokinetic embryo development in low-prognosis patients according to the Patient-Oriented Strategies Encompassing IndividualizeD Oocyte Number criteria: an analysis of 10,366 injected oocytes

This paper looks at whether severe male factor infertility (SMF), reflected by oligozoospermia, impacts embryo morphokinetic behavior in low-prognosis women as stratified by the Patient-Oriented Strategies Encompassing IndividualizeD Oocyte Number (POSEIDON) criteria. Embryos in the SMF groups presented lower Known Implantation Diagnosis Score ranking than those in the nSMF groups in both POSEIDON 1-4 and control groups, suggesting that cumulative differences result in worse morphokinetic development when the algorithm is used.

The composition of menstrual fluid, its applications, and recent advances to understand the endometrial environment: a narrative review

This review details what we currently know about the composition of menstrual fluid and the recent advances in menstrual fluid research, as well as future directions. Menstrual fluid provides a unique window into the endometrium, and further research could help uncover the pathogenesis of endometrial disorders and have exciting prospects as a diagnostic tool.
