Believing in Winning

Long-time Idaho Lottery player and four-time top prize winner Aurelia Sproule has a simple philosophy for playing the Lottery: Believe in winning and you will.

She shared her philosophy when she claimed the first top prize in the new InstaPlay Game Deal Me In, a prize worth $421,359 from a ticket she purchased at the Base Camp River Run in Ketchum.

"I see people come in all the time to the store and buy a ticket, but they say, "I probably won't win." That's not the way to play. You have to believe you will win, and then you will," explained the four-time winner. "I keep playing and I believe I will win, and I do."

About once every two years Aurelia visits the Lottery in Boise with a big winning ticket. She plays regularly at both Base Camp locations in Ketchum. She plans to save most of her winnings.

The Base Camp River Run location in Ketchum is quickly becoming one of the luckiest retailers in Idaho. In addition to selling her Deal Me In winner, the lucky store also sold the top winning ticket from the 2021 Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle. Aurelia's other big winners have come from the Base Camp Warm Springs location in Ketchum.
