UA DS 'All Access' Free Training Webinar, Nov. 12

From fall 2024 through spring 2025, Disability Services (DS) offices across the state will continue to offer free virtual training sessions to UA staff and faculty on a range of essential topics. Each 'All Access' session will include ASL interpreters and live transcription services.

Unless otherwise noted, all UA DS 'All Access' presentations will be recorded. Interested participants can register today to receive a post-session link to the recorded session.

Animals On Campus

Think moose and bears are the only animals on campus? Think again! This engaging webinar will delve into the diverse roles of service animals, assistance animals and pets in the academic environment. From understanding the legal rights and responsibilities associated with service animals to the emotional benefits of therapy and assistance animals, this webinar will cover it all. Experts will share practical insights and strategies for fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for these important companions. Additionally, this webinar will discuss service animals in laboratories and other specialty areas. Whether participants are students, staff/faculty members, or campus administrators, this session will equip you with participants with knowledge to navigate and enhance the role of animals on their campus and those they serve. Participants will learn how to make your campus more responsibly inclusive and respectfully animal-friendly!
