Amador County

Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 49, 88, 104 & 124

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88, SR-104 and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows.

State Route 49

Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 11, 2024.

Overnight lane closures at Sutter Street for drainage work beginning Sunday, September 8, through Friday, September 13, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

State Route 88

Closure of the #1 (left) lane at Woodlake Road for pavement work beginning Monday, September 9, through Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Moving closure from Peddler Hill Road to California/Nevada State line for striping operations beginning Monday, September 9, through Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 104

Overnight, one-way traffic control from Forestry Road to Foothill Boulevard for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 8, through Friday, September 13, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 124

Overnight, one-way traffic control from SR-124/SR-88 Junction to Washington Street for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 8, through Friday, September 13, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Overnight, one-way traffic control at SR-104 East for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 8, through Friday, September 13, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

One-way traffic control at Dry Creek Bridge for bridge inspection beginning Monday, September 9, through Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

All work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
