​Philadelphia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on Kingsessing Avenue in Philadelphia, beginning Saturday, November 10.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

From 7:00 AM Saturday, November 10, to 5:00 PM Saturday, November 23, Kingsessing Avenue will be closed and detoured 24/7 between Cemetery Avenue and 62nd Street. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Kingsessing Avenue, 65th Street, Woodland Avenue, and 58th Street.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
