Earlier this week, all individuals with an active D2L account at Marquette were granted access to an online course, "D2L FERPA 101." This is a training module for the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) tutorial. This is not a required training for anyone, unless you are employed on campus in some capacity and have been instructed by your supervisor/department that you need to complete the FERPA tutorial (e.g., teaching assistants, instructors, etc.).
All students are welcome to take the training if they wish, but it is only required for individuals employed by Marquette who have been instructed to complete it.
The Office of the Registrar apologizes for any confusion that may have been caused by granting this access.
