Senator Collins Welcomes Bangor Native as Summer Intern in Bangor Office

Bangor, ME - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Daniel McCarthy, a Bangor native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Bangor office. Dan is a graduate of Bangor High School.

"Dan is a dedicated student-athlete whose strong academic background makes him well-suited for this role serving the people of Maine," said Senator Collins. "I am glad to welcome him to my Bangor office to assist my staff with important constituent services."

Dan is a rising Junior at Georgetown University, where he is majoring in International Politics. On campus, he is a member of the men's track and cross-country teams. Upon graduation, Dan hopes to work in the State Department.
