Central City Concern's Meridian Gardens development brings 85 new recovery-oriented affordable homes to Powellhurst-Gilbert, adjacent to their Cedar Commons and Crescent Court developments.

As of September 13, 2024, Meridian Gardens, developed by Central City Concern (CCC), is open to tenants. This project brings 85 studio and SRO units to Powellhurst-Gilbert, designed for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness who are in Substance Use Disorder treatment.
65 of the units at Meridian Gardens provide Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), with the remainder regulated affordable to those making <30% AMI. All units will be served by experienced CCC staff with recovery-oriented programming. The project is adjacent to CCC's Cedar CommonsPSH development and Crescent Courtfamily apartments.
On-site amenities include a shared community garden, recovery group rooms, a resident gym, and a large courtyard. The project is served by Trimet's Division Bus Rapid Transit FX2 line. Meridian Gardens is funded by the voter-approved MetroHousing Bond, which is bringing over 2000 affordable homes to Portland, and exceeding all goals.
