The Faber Center offers various opportunities for faculty and staff members to move along their path of spiritual exploration and growth.

The inner life and the spiritual journey are places rich with possibility and promise. As we progress along this journey, we come to know ourselves with greater clarity and have a deeper relationship with God.

Find out more about yourself, find meaning and make better decisions. In addition, the Faber Center offers Spiritual Exercises, which are at the heart of the Ignatian tradition.

Those interested in making the Spiritual Exercises, one-on-one spiritual direction or learning more are invited to fill out the online form.

Not ready to walk the journey alone? Explore some opportunities to participate with others across campus below.

Men's Spirituality Forum

Thursday, Sept. 12, at noon

This gathering is an informal event for thoughtful conversation with colleagues, led by Dr. Michael Dante, director of the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality. Lunch will be served.

Retreat for Busy People

This is a time where you are listened to, your stories are heard, and your experiences cherished. This retreat is a time for you to slow down, notice the deeper aspects of your life and appreciate them even more. This retreat includes weekly one-on-one meetings, virtual or in-person, based on your schedule. All faculty and staff are welcome to register.

Shared Inquiry: The Gift of Listening

Mondays, Sept. 30 to Oct. 21

Join the Faber Center as Dr. John Pustejovsky, associate professor emeritus, leads a reflective experience of shared inquiry and a lively discussion unlike any found in a classroom.

How to Make Better Decisions: An Introduction to Ignatian Discernment

First session is Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m.

This four-part series introduces participants to Ignatian discernment and invites them to practice it in their lives. This series invites you to re-imagine the decision-making process. No religious or faith tradition, practice or affiliation is required. If you're looking to improve your decision-making skills and step into the fullness of life, this series is for you. Sessions are facilitated by Dr. Liz Angeli, associate professor of English and spiritual director.
