, taking place September 24-26, in Las Vegas.

While the mining industry is making progress towards a sustainable future, mining companies continue to face challenges in reducing their environmental impact. Currently, the mining industry accounts for 6% of the world's energy demand

and 4%-7% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
