Yuhan Corporation Selects Oracle Argus Cloud Service for Global Safety Case Management

Yuhan Corporation, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in South Korea, has moved to Oracle Argus Cloud Service to manage its global pharmacovigilance operations. Yuhan Corporation will be able to take advantage of more advanced safety data analysis and operational metrics, and domestic and international pre- and post-market reporting.

With Oracle Argus Cloud Service, Yuhan Corporation will now have state-of-the-art safety case processing for its clinical trials. Built-in capabilities including automation, workflow optimization, and conditional touchless processing will help reduce manual work, increase efficiency, and enable Yuhan Corporation to address its global compliance goals with aggregated and expedited reporting.

As Argus is built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), featuring the same high performance and security used to protect some of the most sensitive data around the world, the company will also benefit from regular innovation and maintenance updates, such as patching to reduce risk and free IT staff for other corporate priorities.

Oracle Argus Cloud Service also provides a secure gateway between Yuhan Corporation and South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Services. This provides the company the ability to electronically report adverse event cases directly to the Ministry, simplifying and accelerating the mandatory reporting process.

"Pharmacovigilance requirements are constantly expanding and changing which puts tremendous pressure on pharmaceutical companies to keep pace," said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Health and Life Sciences. "Moving onto the cloud with Oracle Argus Cloud Service will enable Yuhan Corporation to transform its safety case management processing and reporting protocols so it can ultimately safely introduce new therapies to market more quickly."

Yuhan Corporation is also working with the Oracle Life Sciences Technical Consulting team to manage the product implementation, data migration, systems integration, technical training, and other initiatives.

Supported by expertise in safety, AI, and machine learning, Oracle recently announced new capabilities in Oracle's unified pharmacovigilance portfolio, including Argus. Learn more at: https://www.oracle.com/life-sciences/pharmacovigilance/argus-safety-case-management/.
