Here's a recap of incidents occurring last night:

Great work officers! Last night, officers safely took a gun off the streets.

• On Oct. 13, 2024, at approximately 4:23 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near 20th Street and Orange Avenue. The vehicle fled from officers and collided into a light pole. After a brief foot pursuit, officers detained the driver and passenger. During their investigation, officers recovered a firearm. The driver, who was later determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
