Erie Insurance names Tony DaBreo SVP and leader of Erie Family Life; Jerre McNeill to lead West region as VP and Regional Officer

ERIE, Pa., Aug. 22, 2024 - Erie Insurance (ERIE) today announced two leadership promotions within the company's Sales and Products division.

Tony DaBreo has been promoted to senior vice president, Erie Family Life.

In this role, DaBreo will lead the corporate strategy for all life insurance operations including Life actuarial, marketing, claims and underwriting operations. Additionally, he will work closely with ERIE agents to continue to build on the rich history and foundation of Erie Family Life.

DaBreo began at ERIE as a district sales manager trainee and over his 28-year career served as a branch sales manager in Allentown, Harrisburg (Pa.) and Indiana before his promotion to Northeast Regional Vice President in 2017. In February, he was named vice president and regional officer, West region.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, DaBreo holds a bachelor's degree from Franklin University and a master's degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He earned a Certificate in Leadership from the University of Virginia Darden Business School and is a graduate of The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI) through an affiliation with Carnegie Mellon University. DaBreo also holds several industry designations. Beyond his ERIE role, he serves as a board member of the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) in Erie County, Pa.

Jerre McNeill has been promoted to vice president and regional officer, West region, and will lead field operations in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

McNeill joined ERIE in 2011 as a district sales manager in Indiana. Since then, he served as the Indiana Branch manager before moving to vice president and branch manager of the Illinois Branch Office in 2019. Prior to ERIE, McNeill built an insurance agency from scratch with Farmers Insurance and later sold that agency to become a district manager at Farmers.

A graduate of Butler University, McNeill holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in elementary education from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
