The Royal Thai Embassy of Budapest Organised the Second Thai Food Cooking Demonstration under the Theme of Street Food

On 16 August, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest hosted the second Thai Food Cooking Demonstration under the theme of Street Food at the Thai Residence. The event aimed to promote and showcase Thai cuisine to the Hungarian audience and local media, featuring live demonstrations and interactive cooking sessions. Beside the Thai gastronomy, the participants could also learn about various aspects of Thai culture, such as traditional Thai dance performances and Thai massage, which left participants a lasting impression.

In the beginning, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, delivered opening remarks and highlighted the Embassy's initiatives to promote Thai arts and culture through various activities planned for August and September 2024. Among these was Thai Gastro Week, a collaborative effort with Anantara New York Palace Budapest, held from August 26 to September 1, 2024. Mr. Tamas Fazekas, General Manager of the Hotel, elaborated on the Thai Gastro Week and invited attendees to participate.
