Corteva biological showing good results in root systems

Jon Dadd, Corteva's Territory Account Manager and field station focal point emphasised one of the primary objectives of the research station as engaging and educating advisors in the cropping and agronomy industry.

"The trial work undertaken here focuses on research, development and commercial extension work for industry advisors," he said.

"Over my 24 years of association with Breeza our main objective has been educating advisors to understand the complexities and benefits of products trialled so they can use them effectively."

Last year's tour of the Breeza site with Elders graduate agronomists saw the introduction and discussion of the new biostimulant Utrisha N. Now released and on the market, Jon and his team have undertaken a summer program which yielded interesting insights into root bio stimulation.

"A key finding out of the summer program was not just the nitrogen supply by the bacteria, but the bio stimulation of the roots," he said.

"We have found that Utrisha N has enhanced the development of deeper and stronger root systems, improving water and nutrient uptake."
