John Chae, Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting

Art by John Chae, Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting at the School of Art and Design, New York College of Ceramics at Alfred University, is appearing at D.D.D.D. Gallery, 179 Canal St, NYC in his solo exhibition, "Hallucination."

The exhibition will run to Oct. 13.

"Hallucination" is Chae's second solo presentation with this gallery. Through a multifaceted approach to painting, his work reckons with the deep fractures that the consciousness of the present has inflicted on our visions of the past and the future.
