Suspect Arrested in Stabbing on Stagecoach Drive

Just after 7 AM on Friday, August 23, 2024, Sacramento County Sheriff's North Patrol Deputies responded to a residence on Stagecoach Drive in North Sacramento County, regarding a stabbing that just occurred. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the victim, an adult male, who was suffering from non-life-threatening lacerations to his shoulder. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies learned the victim had been assaulted by his brother, later identified as 29-year-old Christiane Gonzalez, who was detained at the scene without incident. Gonzalez was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he remains ineligible for bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 27.
