Teens Arrested for Smoke Shop Burglaries in Carthage

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024 Troopers out of SP Carthage arrested a 13-year-old female, 14-year-old male, and two 15-year-olds (a male and female), in connection with the recent burglaries in the village of Carthage.

Throughout the month of May 2024, there were numerous reports of burglaries at multiple locations in Carthage including: Smoker's Convenience, Smoker's Corner, Carthage Convenience, and Carthage Market.

All four Juveniles were arrested and processed at SP Carthage for Burglary 3rd degree and issued family court appearance tickets for Jefferson County Probation. They were released and turned over to their legal guardians.
