The members of the Montenegrin Government expressed their satisfaction that their first official international visit was to Belgrade.

Zogovic and Vukicevic stressed that cooperation with Serbia is extremely important for Montenegro and that they will try to raise the relations between the two countries to a much higher level in the coming years. Brnabic agreed with them, pointing out that Serbia attaches great importance to regional cooperation and that a developed and well-connected region means a better life for all of its citizens.

The National Assembly Speaker said that parliamentary diplomacy is one of her priorities and that she will try her best to establish closer cooperation with the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Transport underlined that the reconstruction of the Belgrade-Bar railway and the construction of a highway that would in the future connect the Montenegrin coast and Podgorica with Belgrade are the most important infrastructure projects for their country.
